I devote much of my time to devising ways of enriching people and profiting from it. I wish my friends well and do whatever I can to help them. I love that idea of “making it together”. I hope to meet you too. The following is a small window into who I am.

I am a professional and entrepreneur in public health, publishing, journalism and pharmacy practice. In 2013, I won the prestigious and keenly contested Commonwealth Scholarship to study masters of science in public health with focus on HIV/AIDS in sub-Sahara Africa (from socio-epidemiology perspective).

To make myself a sought-after professional, I have honed and woven pertinent skills garnered from over 5 years work experiences spanning media/editorial consultancy, public health project management, advocacy and diplomacy, pharmacy services, community outreach, healthcare products procurement and delivery in non-profit, private and public sectors in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

As a Cancer Research UK Ambassador, I was part of the 100 lobbyists who advocated for standardised cigarette packaging at Westminster on July 2nd 2014. Using effective communication skills, I lobbied Sarah Champions (MP Rotherham) and presented the evidence base to support my organisation’s cause aimed at saving lives and reducing cancer incidence by discouraging smoking among children. http://www.beds.ac.uk/news/2014/july/university-of-bedfordshire-researcher-and-students-take-part-in-cancer-day-of-action

And the outcome?

In March 2015, the standard packaging bill was passed into law by majority vote at the British parliament. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/mar/11/mps-pass-legislation-introduce-standardised-cigarette-packaging

I was a Nigerian delegate at the Commonwealth Diaspora Youth Leadership conference in London in July 2014, and was among select young people who observed the Commonwealth Day with the Queen at Westminster Abbey in March of same year.

I currently lead the Editorial Team that publish Health and Politics Today, an internationally recognised magazine http://cscuk.dfid.gov.uk/2015/04/health-and-politics-today/
